“The Bean” is nestled just a few wet footprints away from the famous Southern California beachfront, beside a stretching expanse of docks, sailboats, fishing vessels and yachts that make up North County San Diego’s Oceanside Harbor.

Everyday since May of 1994, the pre-dawn emptiness along the water stirs with the sound of Jamaican Blue Mountain Wallenford Estate, Kona Extra Fancy Greenwell Estate and six other daily specialty coffees grinding and percolating. It is a thick, intoxicating aroma that consistently charms both locals and tourists into stopping by, only to find that They’ve discovered the best cup of coffee, education and entertainment in town.
